They had all had such horrible dreams over the weekend. Vivid dreams. Dreams of pencils coming alive, and laughing. Dreams of clouds of utter doom and bad pastrami sandwiches turning up everywhere. Dreams of elks in tutus and--

The staff today was not paranoid. They were merely wary, and occasionally, clinging to each other for support.
