Fandom High Office, Tuesday, August 15
Aug. 15th, 2006 07:16 amHaving such success yesterday with curing people of "The Mondays," Fred Trooper decided to continue this service along its logical trajectory.
That's why when Annabelle from the attendance office walking in yawning slightly, looking somewhat rested but still ill-prepared to get through four more days of work before the weekend, Fred Trooper stopped her. "FW025, halt!"
"What is it, Fred?" Annabelle asked, yawning.
"You're exhibiting symptoms of having A Case of the Tuesdays. That should be corrected," Fred Trooper answered.
"No, seriously, it's fine. I'm just a little tire--"
Fred Trooper reached into his middle drawered and pulled out a thermos of coffee. "Drink this, FW025! It will stimulate your mind and keep you alert!"
"But I don't drink coffee."
"Start."
Annabelle could see this wasn't going to end without her taking the thermos. "Thanks, Fred."
"Not a problem, FW025. I'm just doing my job."
