The office was a sadder place today, or at least sorer. Inevitably, the lurking banana peel had claimed a victim.
Poor Mandy had innocently left her desk in search of a cup of coffee - an inalienable right of office workers everywhere - and it had pounced.
Ankle propped up on the desk, she was being fussed over by Jim. It was really quite sweet, the way he kept hovering and checking the ice pack, admonishing her to stay away from banana peels in the future.
Vicious banana peel attack or not, it's possible Mandy's smile was a touch smug.
