The first week of the semester was drawing to a close. After a relatively light week that featured them having to do their jobs and file some paperwork, today seemed a little quiet. Maybe too quiet.

And then, hours later, as the big, exciting stuff continued to not happen in the office, they realized that it wasn't too quiet after all.

That was somewhat disappointing to them.
