After much bickering, the office staff had finally agreed on lottery numbers. They'd just ducked out to buy a ticket yesterday morning before work, intending to be back before the office was due to open.
The best laid plans...
After a day of running, a night of hiding, and a rather unfortunate encounter with a moose (who was suffering an existential crisis as to its essential moosieness), they'd finally made their way back to the office.
Sadly enough, the moose had followed them. It was standing behind the counter (they'd had to move one of the desks), wearing a beret Mandy had found for him. He looked so eager to embrace its new life as an office worker no one had the heart to chase him away.
[I totally forgot to post the office yesterday, oops. I have no excuse for the moose.]
