Once upon a morning dreary, workers pondered, weak and weary
Over many a quaint and curious stack of paperwork galore
While they nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of someone gently rapping, rapping at the office door.
"'Tis some visitor," they muttered, "Tapping at the office door;
Only this, and nothing more."
Open here they flung the shutter, when, with many a scrape from the gutter,
In there stepped a scowling gremlin, of the type we can't ignore.
Not the least obeisance made he; not a minute stopped or stayed he;
But with mien of troublemaker, perched above the office door.
Perched upon a bust of Bristow, just above the office door.
Perched, and sat, and nothing more.
Then this sneaky gremlin beguiling the workers into smiling,
By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance it wore,
"He'll jump onto all the students, when," one said, "I can't determine,
Ghastly, grim, and ancient vermin, perched high above the office door.
Tell me are you going to stand for this and let him trouble us more?"
Quoth the workers, "Nevermore!"

Most of the day was spent chasing Bob Gremlin around the rather office than actually doing work. It wasn't until mid-afternoon that they finally settled down.
