With a week before the fall semester and the bulk of the new students already in, the office drones had a week's vacation.

In their place, the office skeleton staff was back on the job, and boy did they hate Mondays! A couple of them even tried drinking coffee to help wake themselves up, only to have to clean the carpet.

Any new students arriving today would find the skeletons completely capable of checking them in and taking their weapons to the locker.

Carmela slinks into the office, looking a bit sheepish. She's carrying something that could best be described as looking like an eggbeater crossed with a curling iron.

"Hey, um, skeleton-people?" She says nervously. "I sort of... didn't run this through the weapons check yesterday but then I thought well, maybe I should check and make sure I have permission to have it because even though I don't *use* it as a weapon- um, that often- it might be perceived as one and then I'd get in trouble. So I thought maybe I should do that."

A skeleton shambled over with a sheet of paper. It read:

See an administrator to get permission to keep your gun/sword/nuclear warhead/other weapon (choose one). The weapon will remain in the weapons locker until permission is granted.
