There was much scurrying about in a panic this morning as the office staff realised what day it was.

Parents were coming! Lots of them!

It would be a day of wonder and terror, a chance for them to do great deeds and indulge in derring-do, in actions that would echo through the ages and form the stuff of legend and mystery.

Or they might just hide in the closet.
