The office staff, despite not being British or particularly anarchistic, had ended up deserting their paper clip chain yesterday in favor of celebrating Guy Fawkes Day.

It hadn't been the best idea, since there was now a hole in the office floor leading to an underground tunnel where some of the staff had tried to blow up the school. After forgetting to bring the gunpowder, remembering that someone already blew the school up not long ago and reminding themselves that the aftermath had involved a terrible amount of re-filing, they'd abandoned the treasonous plot.

That didn't stop some stragglers from remaining down in the hole, refusing to come back up until they figured a suitable rhyme for the sixth of November in protest of the fifth getting all the glory.

The rest of the office staff were considering filling the hole whether they came up or not.
