The moment the door to the office opened and those words drifted towards them, they knew that their respite from weird had been all too short. With a deep, ennui-filled sigh, the staff made their way into the building.
They had decided they would make-- well, something of it, but about five rounds into Deck the halls with-- their spirit had been broken and they bent over their keyboards with a sort of slow, deep sense of defeat.
